Procrastination
Cumberbatch, Sherlock

So, I've got some tasks that I really need to start, such as my Sherlock retelling FanFiction, many other FanFiction updates, making some more icons, doing some art coursework (an acryllic painting), and writing an MPSRE essay about families.

Problem is, I'm a procrastinator. I can't help it - it's partly due to laziness, partly because the internet has distracting content, but mostly due to my horrible fear of failure.

I think that it comes with the perfectionism [of sorts] that I have - I just don't ever want to start something because I'm too scared that it will be a complete disaster.

It is half-term though, so I might get around to doing some of it...if I have nothing else to do, I'll just have to force myself to do some work...

P.S: The new series of Being Human has started, and that is taking up my Sunday evenings; Whitechapel is on Monday evenings, and Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy is on Thursday evenings [all of which are brilliant, but take up time].

P.P.S: I've started to use my tumblr more, so if you want to find me on there, I'm JessiicaFox. I'd link, but...I'm lazy :) It's mostly Sherlock/Doctor Who/Being Human/Benedict Cumberbatch or other random stuff...

It's January...still.

I have just about had enough of January. Not only is it cold, but Sherlock's finished, which was the only good thing about January. Also, the sooner we get through January, the closer it is to Being Human [Although I'm not entirely sure when that'll come back, because BBC3 is doing the whole "Coming Soon" thing. I know it's coming soon, you don't have to tell me. Just tell me exactly when :/]

As well as that, January has brought me Science GCSEs (I'm taking triple; the results will probably be as such: Biology: B, possibly A. Physics: C. Chemistry: F. The Chemistry one was super hard, which is strange, because I thought I was worse at Physics. Obviously not...). It has also given me a cold, and sparked up my hatred for people.

On the plus side, I'm spending more time with a different group of my friends, and am having fun times (with such conversations as: wobbly Hitler, musical interlude and Power Rangers. Also the blue butterfly of death and destruction) :D It always surprises me how I have as many friends as I do with me having such a general hatred of people. [Note: Not people who have things in common with me, like people on LJ and Twitter, just people who have nothing at all in common with me. Like most of the school.]

I had Spanish today, which was good for me: my friend gave me a silly band in the shape of a train that I named 'The Train of Yaoi', and we spent most of the lesson discussing how two of the people on the table would be the best couple, and how Dino Thunder was the best series of Power Rangers [It's true. Don't deny it.]

Although, to counter that small portion of happiness, my iPod broke earlier D: I can't cope without all of my music! :(

Ahh that's quite hard! I love so many songs! Also, I have no singing ability whatsoever...but I shall make a tracklist of covers for my hyperthetical album (which will be hyperthetically awesome).

1. Don't Look Back - Alex Day
2. The World is Mine - Alex Day
3. Animal - Neon Trees
4. Fingertip - Aqualung
5. Forever Yours - Alex Day
6. Oh No! - Marina and the Diamonds
7. As The World Falls Down - David Bowie (from the film Labyrinth)
8. Less Than Three - Edd Blann
9. The Writer - Ellie Goulding
10. Strawberry Swing - Coldplay

Hell yes, this is a good hyperthetical album.

Sherlock Icons!

Sherlock Icons. Am new to this icon stuff, so if anything goes wrong, please inform me of my mistakes. Otherwise, continue fangirling (because I know I will be) XD Credit me if you use any icons (please?) :)

In case of an impending zombie apocalypse, what would be your weapon of choice, and why?

To be honest, I wouldn't have the guts to fight zombies in real life. On COD, fine, but really..? I'd have a panic attack and hyperventilate. And then there would be death by zombies.

Benedict Cumberbatch is a Fanfiction cat.

This is the only thing keeping me writing and vaguely sane right now.

The Season of Good Will Definately Means Hatred.
Cumberbatch, Sherlock
agentblenkinsop

So, I know it's meant to be the season of good will and such, but at the moment I pretty much hate everyone that isn't my family, and a select few friends. :/

I'm really, really angry at someone who completely betrayed my trust, because I find it hard to trust people as it is, someone else is being really moody and someone will not leave me alone! But most of all, some writers are annoying me.

You know the sort, the sort that think fanfiction is pathetic and then suddenly start to write fanfiction involving them and usually One Direction. With terrible grammar.

I have nothing against these people personally, or One Direction for that matter, or them writing that sort of fanfiction, but when they take the moral highground, that annoys me. Why is it that you writing poorly constructed fanfiction about a member of One Direction falling in love with you somehow acceptable, yet me writing fanfiction about Doctor Who not?

Whoa. Read that back and now I feel like a bitch. Calm down Jessica, and go watch Cumberbatch. :)

Updates.

Soo...not long at all until Christmas, and I'm not in a particularly festive mood. I'm not quite sure what it is, but something's stopping me from feeling festive. Eh.

In better news, I've been rewatching Sherlock, as you do, because a) it's brilliant, and b) Benedict Cumberbatch has a nice face. :) And I'm finally starting to get back into writing (I had a bit of a creative drought), and my fanfics are progressing nicely. Also, I discovered the huge Sherlock fanbase on Fanfiction.net, and have plans to start a Sherlock fic of my own :D

Aside from that, I have plans to get my music sorted out (because iTunes is not functioning properly) and start work on some more fan videos to put on my YouTube; most of these fan videos are Sherlock themed, because Sherlock and Watson would be such a cute couple, and there is so much tension between them that if they don't eventually get together, the world is a lie. But there might be another fan video for the Bayntonator. <3

That's just about it really, the only other things I've been doing are dancing at random times, sitting upside down (it helps me think) and planning my Sherlock story (which will be epic...I hope)

DFTBA,
-Jess

It's Christmas!!!! Soon...

It's that time of the year again...You know, the time when you: forget about presents and rush around buying many on a small budget; eat too much food; get ill and are around your family so much it can get annoying to an extent.

But, before the end of school (Friday 1 O'clock), I need to:
a) give out presents, which I always worry about (What if they don't like it? Or you get them something small and they get you something little? D:)
b) finish a ceramics piece, and I can't stay after school as there are no late buses.
c) have a mock chemistry test :/

Arghh. LiveJournal, y u no let me reply to comments?!

Apart from that little error, life is...alright.

But I have a horrible nasty cold that might actually be flu but I'm not sure. It's making me generally angry for no reason. I did not make it through today without shouting at people >:/
